Some Products I'm Loving.

Just treated myself to some new books. I've been really interested in buddhism and this book sounded very promising. I also got Mess by Keri Smith. I now own her entire collection of books.

Here are some products I'm loving at the moment.

I swear by bumble and bumble products.

I have been using the bumble and bumble surf spray, which is a salt spray, since I picked it up this summer in a Sephora in NYC. It's perfect for my messy waves.

I uses this every day before I put on makeup. The VSPRO line has really impressed me.

I'm obsessed with Topshop makeup ever since Zoella raved about it on her youtube channel. This is a lip crayon in the shade wave goodbye.

I bought this nail polish at J.Crew this summer on a shopping trip. I love this color and it's been my go to color for the whole year.

I am completely, 100%, IN LOVE with the topshop waterproof liner. My favorite color and the one pictured here is gunmetal. Black looks rather intense on me so this is a bit more suited for my makeup style. It goes on so smooth and easy.

I'm going down a slippery slope of bank account emptying despair.

But I just can't resist topshop beauty products. God have mercy on my soul.

Easily described as simple, functional and comfortable. These three words appear a lot in my fashion vocabulary, especially when I'm at school.

A Fashion Lover's Inner Conflict

I have the most conflicted style...I often pair pieces which were rather pricey with that $2 top I scrounged up from Vinny's or Goodwill. I think I like this about myself - it contributes to my eclectic soul and my love of collecting the odd and obscure but also acquiring classic and loved brand name items.

Just thoughts pouring out of my mind I wanted to share as I browsed some sites online...my greatest weakness, the "spend X amount and get free shipping" deal.

Retail Therapy

My mother was supposed to visit this weekend...unfortunately that didn't pan out. She'll be here next weekend to treat me to a serious birthday shopping excursion. Then I can do my very first haul video - something I plan on doing often. 

Until then, I'll just have to treat myself to some retail therapy with my roommate. 

Maybe I'll even do a bit of thrifting - the hipsters pass time.
